Quickfinding the letter d works for me in all layouts. It just seeks out the first letter of a file in the file-list.
Typing the letter "f" brings up preview-fullscreen view, so quickfind doesn't work with the letter "f".
Excuse me, but why there are such shortcuts as 'f' in the first place?
F1 - F12 are OK, but one key shortcut in letters???
I sure hope that this 'f' is the only one.

There is also: "Show Mask ... M" and "Information ... I" - but only in Viewer/FS - here, such 'shortcuts' or hotkeys might be useful...

You've got a special version?
Like for others, it doesn't work for me in Filmstrip layout!
Quickfinding does not work only with thumbnails within layout #6, #7. It works with the other views on layouts #6,#7. 1.80PR. I missed that the first time.

marsh, I've re-checked it - you're right of course!

On a sidenote, when there are files
aa.jpg <-- cursor here
ab.jpg
and I press "a", cursor jumps to "ab.jpg", even though "aa.jpg" matches the "a" I typed.
