Deletes whole folder when sharp (#) in path or file name
When i try to delete file with # in name (or even in path to that file) XnViewMP moves whole folder to trash. Doesn't matter if option "use recycle bin" enabled or not. My OS is Ubuntu 14.04 x64. XnViewMP Version 0.72 x64 (Dec 19 2014)

You delete the file in browser?
Pierre.

Yes, in browser. But same happens even in full screen mode.

I can confirm this bug. I just didn’t know until now that this was because of the sharp. Same config as KoTRpa. Had this error also already in previous version. Thanks for solving.

Ubuntu 14.04, using gvfs-trash, XnViewMP 0.72 x64xnview wrote:i can't reproduce, which distribution? Do you have gvfs-trash on your system?
I just reproduced it like following:
1.) Create Folder Test/#Test2 with picture squirrel.jpg
2.) Open with XnView, than delete from there this picture.
This deletes whole folder Test into bin.
I also tried with the terminal command
Code: Select all
gvfs-trash Test/#Test2/squirrel.jpg
