Win 7 x64 - 0.72 - XMP Ratings not exported

Hi,

I'm using XnViewMP 0.72 under Windows 7 x64.

I start with 2 pictures, Lighthouse.jpg and Lighthouse.tif. In Windows Explorer, I set them to 3 stars and 2 stars respectively.

In XnViewMP, they come up as 3 stars and 2 stars, as expected.

In XnViewMP, I set them to 5 stars and 4 stars respectively.

However, this is not reflected back into Windows Explorer.

There was a similar issue here http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=62&t=30331 so in Settings I've made sure that Metadata / Ratings & Label / Export rating in XMP metadata is checked.

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

It works perfectly for jpg files but not for tif files.

In version 0.81 works ok for JPG but does not work for Sony ARW Raw files. Is it possible to fix this?

XnViewMP can't change XMP from RAW files
