0.72: Two issues

Same here. I first have to select video file for move/deletion (preview-playback was started already), then the normal Windows popup comes up and tells me, that file is locked, then I choose a different file in XnViewMP, switch back to Windows popup and select "try again".

With new 0.75 beta still not possible.
Now even worse cut and paste not workt also.
Sometimes when trying to move several files at the same time, all go through only the last one will not work. It gets copied but then it says "Source cannot be removed".
And then i have a a new file at destination folder and old file at source folder.

Maybe it has to do with timestamps? That the file is lcoked while it tries to adjust time stamps from old file to new file.

I am bumping this because I cannot use XnviewMP to delete and move files.
I cannot use Windows Explorer as these files have ratings and categories assigned.

I need a solution for this.

Edit: It just happened again: I dregged one file to another folder. This time it worked. Then I went into the new folder and tried to move into a subfolder then I received the message that source could not be removed.

Yes, this happends with video files ONLY as stated several times already in this thread.

Can´t you reproduce this behaviour? For me it happends 99 out of 100.

But why is it that Cut&Paste is working which is basically the same thing like move.

Edit: Just did another cut and paste and it did not work. After a second or third try it did work. So it seems not working reliably.
