0.78 64 bit [WIN10]: MP4 Preview not working

Same problem with the 32bit version.

on a fresh Win10 x64, i have installed Klite codec pack, no quicktime install and i have preview+thumbnails

I will try it. The strange thing is that on XnView normal, all videos are played perfectly.

Ok, installing the K-Lite Codec Pack, all the videos are visible and start automatically in the preview tab.

I have a similar problem running Windows 10, 64 bit, XnViewMP 0.78:

I see proper thumbnails for mts, mp4 and mov but cannot play them in XnViewMP. Tried with and without k-lite codec pack. Files play fine in VLC. AVI files do play OK in XnViewMP.

My windows systems information lists the following video codecs:
iyuv_32
msrle32
msvidc32
msyuv
tsbyuv
