Question to "Edit IPTC-IIM/XMP" window

Hello,

I work with XnViewMP 0.79 and I have a question to "Edit IPTC-IIM/XMP" window:

In this window I see 4 buttons; 3 of them are clear to me
- Button "Save template ..." which stores the actual values in a file <template-name>.iptc
- Maybe a dialog is missing which asks for overwrite yes/no in case the name of an existing file is entered.
- Button "Load template" which reads a previous stored template.
- Button "Clear all fields" which does the clearing.

Totally unclear to me is button "Load template V1 ..." which asks to open a file with extension .ipt
Can someone explain to me which workflow will be started with this button?
