Drag&drop copies files instead of moving them

Post by kehlerr »

Hello.
I want to move files with drag&drop, but when I drag some pictures or folders onto others folders, Xnview begins copying these files. How can I fix or set up it?

When dragging and dropping files to a folder on the same drive (e.g. from C:\Test1 to C:\Test2), XnView will move the files. When dragging and dropping files to a folder on a different drive (e.g. from C:\Test to D:\Test), XnView will copy the files. FAIK, Windows Explorer behaves exactly the same way.

If you want to change this, please press 'Strg' for forcing the copying or 'Shift' for forcing the moving of the files.
