Hi,
After installing 0.82 over 0.81 each time I launch application (after closing it with more than 3-4 images opened in previous session) I get this message:
when I select OK, application shows for a moment, than closes.
I tried to trash .ini file, but without any success.
Thanks,
Maxim

do you open image from Finder into XnViewMP?
Even by removing the xnview.ini, you have the same alert?

Hi Pierre,
Than I had to remove xnview.ini in order to launch app again.
Thanks,
Maxim
No, I open files from XnWiew browserxnview wrote:do you open image from Finder into XnViewMP?
If I remove xnview.ini file, application launches with default settings. Then I configure it for my needs, start to work, open more than images, than exit app, than trying to launch it .... and get the same message.xnview wrote:Even by removing the xnview.ini, you have the same alert?

It doesn't ask me to save the session.
I attached .ini file - with this .ini file XnView MP fails to launch after I dismiss the alert I posted in my initial post.
Thanks,
Maxim

Thanks, with this setting file, session is saved automatically.
In xnview.ini, please remove showAgain line
When you quit XnViewMP, you have not this dialog the first time??

Now, after deleting showAgain line I see this confirmation dialog.
If I select OK in it on quit and I have more than 3 files opened, next time application doesn't start.
If I select - NO, it starts, but without any files opened (of course).
In 0.81 and earlier versions there was no such issue - crashing on launching with saved previous session.
Thanks,
Maxim

Very good news: the bug can be overcome !
In the error message box, I checked "do not show again" and - miracle - the problem did not happen any more!!!!
SOLVED !
