I am in Ubuntu Mate 16.04 and use XnViewMP Version 0.84 x64
I right click on the tool bar and choose "customize toolbar" I then add a new entry which is a command, in this case I want it to open the image with gimp.
The new button works fine, I can change the label but I cannot add an icon, when I browse for an icon, there is nothing visible on the browser window to choose from as if it did not recognize icons. Or any other image file I tried.
The only way to make it display a list of files in the browser window is through a search, but it will not load any image file found there.
Happens both on browser view and image view.
Greetings.
David.

Re: Cannot add icon to new (command) tool bar item
Hi David!
Welcome among us!
It works for me (see my specs in signature). Take care, it needs an .ico format (best) or icons embedded in .exe or .dll . It seems that accepts also PNG but I don't know the limitations (size, color depth etc.).

OK, then it must be a problem with my system?
Incompatibility with Ubuntu Mate?
There is an image of what I mean: Any work around?
