- Open logo.png in XnView MP and go to Edit → Copy to clipboard → Image data.
- Start XnView Classic and go to Edit → Import Clipboard.

Hmm, I think that differences in the behaviour of XnView Classic and XnView MP should be avoided if possible. If I understand right, it's XnView Classic which behaves wrong or unexpected.
