Hello.
I just propose, if it's possible, that the file name of the XnViewMP installer get the version number inside.
Actually is always : XnViewMP-win-x64.exe
I propose this way: XnViewMP-win-x64_v0.86.exe
Is better to identify immediately which file we have in the computer and it avoid to overwrite a previous version while downloading the new version.
What do you think about?

the problem is the download servers which have a link, and often don't update it
