0.93: Line breaks not being read properly from descript.ion

XnView: MP 0.93 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 8.1 - 64bit

Effect: Line breaks appear properly in the image's properties in the browser, but if I try to edit them they appear as "\n" in the box. If I want to keep them as line breaks I have to delete all "\n"s and insert line breaks again.

To reproduce:
1. Select an image in XnView MP's browser.
2. Press ctrl+D to bring up the comment editor.
3. Make sure there is a checkbox next to "Description (stored in descript.ion file)".
4. In the text box below "Description (stored in descript.ion file)" type the following:

5. Press the "Write" button.
6. Press ctrl+D to bring up the comment editor again.
Actual behaviour (bug): The text box below "Description (stored in descript.ion file)" looks like this:

i cant reproduce with 0.93.1

The bug persists after uninstalling 0.93 and installing 0.93.1

I noiced that the text in (1) will change without any input from me into (2) if I exit XnView MP and open it again. My descript.ion files looks like (3) from the attached image.

your description file is good, but i can't reproduce (2)

I installed XnVIew MP 0.93.1 on two other devices running Windows 7 - 64bit and Windows 10 - 64bit. The bug appeared on all devices in both the 64bit and 32bit versions of the software. Are you perhaps testing on a 32bit OS?

i've tried on windows 7 & 10, with a clean ini, and can't reproduce
