I'm talking about the same thing as in the topic. Previously, a person managed to put their own icon by modifying a set of icons of 48 pixels, but now even this does not work. I am very annoyed with long labels for most functions. Make it possible to change the icon.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.96.5. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Re: Add an icon to a CMD_ (toolbar)
Nothing changed. There are no new icons for buttons, there is no possibility to set your own icon, "dance with a tambourine" by changing toolbar.ini also does not give any results. What prevents corny support for installing PNG icons for standard functions?
Re: Add an icon to a CMD_ (toolbar)
MARK try to put new command on your toolbar then click on it, if you are lucky setIcon button will light up, if not play again.
P.S. I was able to change/add 2 icons last night. Now button is not active (again) ??? Something is wrong Pierre.
EDIT: New test. I have custom command to open Photoshop with its own icon, when I click on it "Set Icon" is activated and remain activated for all other buttons/commands. So the solution is to click on custom command first.

Re: Add an icon to a CMD_ (toolbar)
in the new version 0.96.5 it is written that the necessary function is added as air, but my experiments did not give results. The ability to change the icon in the small panel occurs only when you add a command, only then you can change the icon for native commands, but still do not display on the panel, but only text. I really like Your program, I switched to it from FastStone, please update it

NOT !
Changing icons only works for custom commands. For the standard ones, this function still does not work.
Yes, I also switched to this program from FastStone. For almost 10 years that I have used their program, they have not added anything new, no new functions or other formats, and I needed support for the DDS format.Mrakobes666 wrote: Fri Aug 21, 2020 6:58 pm in the new version 0.96.5 it is written that the necessary function is added as air, but my experiments did not give results. Re: Add an icon to a CMD_ (toolbar)
As you can see, I added icons for the standard ones, but they still don't appear on the panel. Can there be a way to add a custom command that performs functions in the program environment, for example, search for similar ones and then assign an icon?MARK2580 wrote: Sat Aug 22, 2020 11:32 pm

No idea. Their commands are generally limited to running exe or bat, which is pretty weak functionality.Mrakobes666 wrote: Sun Aug 23, 2020 7:22 amAs you can see, I added icons for the standard ones, but they still don't appear on the panel. It's strange that they didn't immediately make the function of replacing any icon with the desired one. For example, I generally want to make this bar 2 times smaller. Like below, where is the search, new folder, filter and others.
UPD: I don't understand the logic. There is a command "cmd_settings" that opens the settings, but its icon is called "cmd_options" how to understand this? I am trying to put an icon for the "cmd_rebuildThumb" button but png with that name does nothing.
There is a command "cmd_join" but the icon for it is called "cmd_stripImages" WHERE IS THE LOGIC?
Re: Add an icon to a CMD_ (toolbar)

Re: Add an icon to a CMD_ (toolbar)
Pierre, nous aimons beaucoup votre programme, ne le considérez pas comme une réclamation, ajoutez simplement la fonction de remplacement des icônes natives et attribuez des icônes aux commandes qui n'ont pas d'icônes, s'il vous plaît

Strange bug. Hopefully this will be fixed in future builds.xnview wrote: Tue Aug 25, 2020 1:01 pm ok, there is alittle bug, please add a '--COMMAND--' before, select it, and now you can select others command
