0.97.1: Crashes at startup, with simple override updates.

XnView: MP 0.97.1 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 10 - 64-bit

Effect: XnViewMP crashes at startup

I like green software, so I've been using the zip version and store settings in the ini way.
This time, after overwriting the new version of the file directly, there was a crash.

To reproduce:

1. Unzip, then use my override update version.
   https://1drv.ms/u/s!AmFzz3_4XoK_g7JmS91 ... g?e=e2WeDg
   This overlays several years of updates. So I can't say for sure how it came about.
2. Run XnViewMP.
3. Actual behaviour (bug): XnView crashes
4. Unzips a brand new XnViewMP.
5. Expected behaviour: No crash, XnViewMP is run. But lost all my settings.
