SETTINGS / VIEW ? SHOW PAN TOOL ... uncheck it

Unbelievable. I had looked there in "Veiw". Who knows what a "Pan tool" is (although I like pancakes)?

I just tried to en-/disable the pan tool successfully, running XnView MP v0.98 64-bit here. You can check the .ini-file whether the setting is available and set to false. The setting is called 'usePan' and is located in the Viewer section.
Excerpt of xnview.ini:
Check 'Settings > View > Integration > Path' to easily access the .ini-file (see screenshot).

Many thanks for the ini code and screenshot. So to use the ini file to dis/enable an option might be easier, at least if one knew the code part to search for in the file.
At some point that window finally was gone, I actually do not what that was caused by. In the new version it also is away.
