Hello,
I've just upgraded to XnViewMP 0.98.0 on my iMac (OSX 10.13 High Sierra) and I immediately noticed the missing dropdown arrows beside each folder in the favorite bar, which I use a lot while browsing the catalog. Same thing happened on another Mac I have, running OSX 0.15 Catalina. Could someone help me restore these dropdown icons?
Thanks a lot for your help,
best regards,
Roberto

Hi.
I second this. Favorite folders are missing the dropdown arrows since 0.98, Win10 here.
It's been very useful function. I hope it to be re-added soon.
Thanks.

Thanks. Now I got it back.
It's very convenient when sorting files into multiple directories inside. I don't know why it got turned off by default.
But again, Thanks.

Thanks for your answer, I see!
I'm relatively new to XnView, I discovered it only a few months ago and I'm not an advanced user... could you help me with the procedure of editing the INI file please? Where do I start from?
Thanks a lot for your time,
Roberto

You can find the location of the ini file from Tools > Settings > Integration -- Paths and then open the folder containing the file.
Open the ini file in a text editor (if necessary, temporarily change the extension to .txt so that it can be opened).
Then search (easier using Ctrl-F) for the line to be edited, edit it as above, and resave the file (and if necessary change the extension back to .txt).
Then restart XnView MP...
Re: XnViewMP - Favourite folders dropdown arrows missing after upgrade.
Thanks a lot,
I've located the .ini file, changed the extension to .txt and opened with the text editor, but the I can't find the lines
CODE: SELECT ALL
FavShowFiles=
Can I insert
CODE: SELECT ALL
FavShowFiles=True
somewhere anyway in order to have the dropdowns appear?
Thank you for your help.
