ESC key behavior in XnView MP

Hello,

I'm using XnView Classic and XnView MP in parallel.
In terms of functionality and performance, I would like to make a complete transition to MP, but the difference in ESC key behavior prevents that.

When multiple tabs are open, Classic closes the open tabs and returns to File view. However, MP closes the open tab and opens the next tab.

I don't understand if this difference is due to my misuse or just a spec.
Please give me some advice.
