Custom keyboard shortcut?

Is there any way I can create a keyboard shortcut for the action 'crop, then save' instead of having to push Shift+X and then Ctrl+S?

This (crop, then save) is the only thing I do with this software, it would be nice if I could make that even easier.

currently there is no way to assign more than 1 command to shortcut

There are macro programs out there that will record your keystrokes and let you assign a key combo to execute. You can make some really intricate macros

There are some very powerful tools as you say, I only used one briefly a long time ago.

But can you recommend a very basic utility that might be of more immediate help to djfm, ideally just a macro recorder?
