XnView MP "File Listing" creates duplicates in the List.... BUG

Select "Folders", go to File Listing, select to do "Folder Name" only, Text, nothing else checked, preview and save, both show 3 folders of the same folder in the list of every folder in the list. So 3, 3, 3, 3... (though one of them below listed just twice).

I.e. Haven't tested other options, just needed this one thing and it's not working.

p.s. Can you also add a checkbox in which we can choose NOT to have the above words "Folder Name" or otherwise listed in the output?

Not correct... Those are the names of the Top-level FOLDERS I selected. In other words, there should be only ONE file/folder with that name.
I also did not select the "subfolders" option. As well, there are no subfolders or files, let alone subfolders or files with those names below the top-level folder.
There are ONLY "files", and those files have completely different names.

So, this IS a bug...

Also, from what I understand on how the function works, unless I selected "files" as one of the filters/conditions, it should not be listing any "files"? I have only selected "folder" as a condition as the below image shows.

So, you're saying that simply because I have "3 files" for example "within" the folder, even if they are completely different names, THAT is why XnView is duplicating 3 folder names?
So, then yes, that would seem to be what's occuring...

However, I don't know why you would have the program functioning this way, this function would seem to need to change?
I mean, I'm wanting to list the "Folder Names" in my directory, per my peramators/filters set, not create the same folder names according to how many files are within the said directory, that makes no sense.

Uh, but I set the filter to list "Folders", not files... If I wanted to list files I would have selected the "File" Filter.
I also have un-checked "List Subfolders", thus if I wanted subfiles to be listed, I would have that checked.

Again, this doesn't make sense. So, this needs to be changed.

What you call "filter" is not a filter but a variable field. Files are always listed within this command, but user can choose what will be displayed for each file by the means of the variable fields. So there is no bug here.

I hope it helps.

That said, perhaps Pierre could add an option "Skip redundant line if any" ?
