Wrong image dimensions when resizing

Post by rogi »

Sometimes shows wrong dimension of an image when performing resizing.
Dimensions of the image in the bottom left corner are correct, but in the resizing menu they are completely off.

I think there is more than one issue, arising from more than one request over a period of time.

I haven't posted concerning the Last used setting, and in fact I have only just noticed the drop-down, so if the default was changed that could explain the issue I have seen recently.

My request, I think repeated recently after an earlier request, was for persistence of the Mode setting, so that I don't have to repeatedly reset it every time I open an image. And possibly some of the other settings would also be persistent, a matter for discussion perhaps.

The mode is always restored to last used, no?

Sorry, possibly some confusion, testing quickly with 0.99.4 it does seem to be persistent... :D

Possibly the Presets change, which meant that on opening Resize I was seeing unexpected image size values displayed, masked implementation of the Mode persistence that I requested, if that was also implemented, I didn't notice it in the change list.

The problem is that resize dialog shows last used dimensions, not current ones. Which is annoying because you have to click Resample every time, otherwise image may lose original proportions.

Something similar described in this post:

Uh, OK. I got it. I have to select "Default" preset from dropdown and check "Load Default values" option. Thank you!
