Hello,
If I select in browser mode a folder that includes also subfolders the images of the subfolders are automatically included in the browser view. How to get only the selected folder without the images in the subfolders? The option “Show files in subfolder” is deactivated.

Thank you for your problem report, Bronimus. I cannot reproduce your problem. Which version of XnView MP do you use? Could you perhaps take a screen cast / screen video and post it here?

In your screenshot "Clipboard 3.jpg", we don't see images of ""Zusätzliches" in "200609 Dresden" folder?

Re: folders with subfolders in browser mode
Thank you, Bronimus, for your screenshots. I continue in English (and not in German) so that many people are able to read this and benefit.
I'm not quite sure but to me it looks as if you have a special sorting (or something like that) which forces to rearrange thumbnails after loading. Are you sure that files from the subfolder "Zusätzliches" are shown? What is your sort order? Could you perhaps provide your XnView configuration (file: "xnview.ini")?

Sorry for the mess
Clipboard 1.jpg is the upper part of the subfolder "Zusätzliches"
Now I add Clipboard 4.jpg which is the lower part of the subfolder and is to be seen on clipboard 3.jpg
I also add XnView.ini as a zipped file

Hello,
Meanwhile: your hint concerning XnView.ini helped
I deleted XnView.ini and opened XnViewMP again. After configuring the options now everything looks correct. It is a little bit strange
but "what the hey!"

Re: Folders with subfolders in browser mode
Good to read that resetting the XnView configuration helped, Bronimus. XnView settings are supposed to be compatible between version but in few cases these aren't. Also, XnView offers heaps of settings and flexibility in configuration - this offers potential for misconfiguration.
