Removing transparency

Removing transparency

I wondered if there was a way to batch convert and output tiff but transparency -> white, like how it does for jpg?

  1. Open transparent.gif in the viewer.
  2. Go to Image → Change color depth…
  3. Select 24 bits and a background color.
FYI: transparent.gif is in fact a PNG image with a wrong file type extension.
