MacOS 1.01: No support for AVIF on MacOS

OS: MacOS

Can't open/view any AVIF file.
Also, file Browser hangs when selecting avif file (on Exif tab active)

currently avif is only supported on Windows x64

Any chance to add support for MacOS in the near future?
BTW, There are some apps/libs that work with it on MacOS already
eg.

AVIFQuickLook https://github.com/dreampiggy/AVIFQuickLook

LibAOM https://aomedia.googlesource.com/aom

First two can be easily installed by brew (https://formulae.brew.sh/formula/libavif#default)
Lastly, it seems the newest macOS will support it since Ventura beta properly shows AVIF in the Finder and the built-in Preview application.
