PDF file does not open -- 'File can't be loaded' [Solved]

Subject: 1.4.0: crash when indexing pdf file

XnView: MP 1.4.0 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 64bit

opening a certain pdf document will crash XnView MP 1.4.0

Effect: Program crashes

To reproduce:
1. save M7310v1(EU)_DS.pdf file (attached)
2. open this file in XnView MP


Actual behaviour (bug): Program crashes :bug:

Expected behaviour: Don't crash

Opens normally in multiple other PDF viewers, but confirmed not in XnView MP: no crash but 'File can't be loaded' message.

Occurs even with File > Format settings... > PS/PDF tab -- Read tab -- PDF -- Ignore read errors selected.

The file properties show it as having been produced in Adobe Illustrator CC 2017, so it should be valid.

This situation has occurred occasionally over a quite long period, and I'm not sure that any explanation has ever been found... :?:

It should at least provide a test file for Pierre!

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.4.1. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.

Bug Fix Confirmed with XnViewMP 1.4.2, M7310v1(EU)_DS.PDF opens via Browser mode into View mode is Perfect and "Drag and Drop" from XYplorer to XnViewMP View mode is Perfect!
