1.4.4 Save as dialog - duplicate file extensions at different file formats

Post by masterjp »

I opened a picture and saved it with the 'save as' dialog.
You can choose the file format in the following dropdown menu:
Zwischenablage-1.png
The avif file format is available in the extension AVIF and also in HEIC.

I think it is better to remove the extension *.avif at HEIC/HEIF format.
PC: Intel 8700k + Asus Z370-F + 16 GB RAM G.Skill + Asus RTX 3050 OC + Samsung SSD
OS: Windows 10 Pro 64bit 22H2 |
GFX: XnViewMP 1.8.7 | XN-View 2.52.0 | XnConvert 1.104.0 | Adobe Photoshop Elements 2024 | Elements XXL 11 | Paint.Net 5.1.7

I guess it describes this behaviour:
1.4.4 - batch convert - avif saves as heic
