XNView MP Crashes When Editing IPTC Info

Hi, I recently built a new PC and installed XNView MP.

I seem to have an issue whereby if I go to edit the IPTC tags on an image, the program just hangs. As soon as I click Edit IPTC. The only thing I can do is to go to Task Manager and end the task. It's strange as I had no issues on my old PC.

Tried older versions and it seems to happen on that too. Currently running the latest 1.52.

the crash occurs before the dialog box is displayed? on every jpeg files? Do you have sent the crash dump with crash dialog?

I can't find any crash dump files but I can see errors in the windows log:

i can't reproduce, could you send me your xnview.ini?

I deleted that file, and it's recreated it and it's working fine now.

Definitely something wrong in my ini file then.

I can't reproduce. Could you try to use your xnview.ini but remove [iptc] section?
