Program Settings are being reset after restart [Solved]

XnView: MP 1.52 64 bit
OS: Windows 10 64bit

Our program settings are being reset after every program start.
So, every setting has to be set again. Very annoying!

have you opened multiple instances? as the last closed one will overwrite .ini file with its settings

Where are your setting saved in Tools > Settings > Integration tab?

And are you accessing XnView MP from a user or an admin account?

I'm in Linux for multiple reasons, but wonder if there might be a file access rights issue in some configurations?

Edit: You are using the installed version, or maybe the ZIP version?

Yes, I think it has to do with the rights management. But strangely I am working on an Admin account and checked my admin rights on that file.
Some settings are now saved. But especially the specific file colors (settings>files>color for formats) are constantly being reset.
See attached pic.

btw, I am using the installed version.

I'm primarily a Linux user, but pending any support from someone else you could possibly consider trying different Tools > Settings > Integration tab location options.

I have a feeling that I may have seen something similar posted before, and one location option may no longer be accessible even with admin rights.
