1.5.5: in 'view mode', using cursor-keys to view previous/next files; stops working upon viewing a TEXT file

Post by kbyork »

XnView: MP 1.5.5 64bit
OS: Windows-10 Pro 64bit

in 'view mode', using cursor-keys to view previous/next files; stops working upon viewing a TEXT file

Effect:
in Settings > Interface > keyboard: I have 'left/right' = 'Previous/Next file'
When in VIEW MODE, I can scan through my files, using the cursor-keys.
Until I view a TEXT-file; then cursor-keys have no effect.

To reproduce:
1. click on a thumbnail, to go into VIEW-mode.
2. use cursor-keys to scan the files.
3. cursor to a TEXT file

Actual behavior (bug): cursor-key no longer allow me switch files. :bug:
Expected behavior :  cursor-keys should continue working.

memo: I can still use 'previous/next file' buttons in the toolbar.
and after leaving the TEXT file; the cursor-keys began working again.

memo: this worked fine in the previous version.
