Hi there, not sure what happened but I went to the Catalog Filter and noticed all of the custom categories I created for images are now gone. I had about a dozen of them and across my categories had several hundred images catalogued.
The images did not change location and they are still viewable. My Favorites that I created in XnView MP are still however in there.
Was there something that could cause this ? Is there any backup location for where the categories are stored ?
Using v1.6.1 64-bit (Linux)

In Settings>Path, you have access to xnview.db, could you send me it?

By chance, I have exported previously the list of file with the categories assigned. How can I reimport categories and association ?
Attached the xnview.db file and the csv file where I just remove the quotes for txt and change the delimitator (; instead of

Really strange, the categories table are like the first time you create the catalog. But the exported file is xml not csv??vincentparez wrote: Sun Feb 04, 2024 10:36 am Attached the xnview.db file and the csv file where I just remove the quotes for txt and change the delimitator (; instead of![]()

Re: All custom categories gone XnView MP
to export/import categories, you have "File's categories' menu in Categories panel. There is no direct way to import csv
you need to change the csv like exported categories file
you need to change the csv like exported categories file
