1.6.2: "Move to..." [ALT+M] extremly slow / no response of window

Post by marl »

XnView: MP 1.6.2 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 11 64bit

I have copied the pictures from my camera to the notebook (SSD). There are about 400 pictures and each picture is between 15-25 MB in size. When I select a single image in the xnView browser and select ALT+M for "Move to..." and start it (click on button "Move"), xnView hangs for a good half minute and nothing works in the program (greyed), although I only want to move a single image to the subfolder of the current image-folder on the same notebook. It would be great if a solution could be found.

Effect: Program hangs ~30 seconds

To reproduce:

Yes, but not used as destination. One time it was active and one time it was not active. Both times same issue.

Oh, yes. For small files too. I use the functions (copy to.. / move to..) first time.

I windows explorer I can move (drag&drop) and copy files instant, there is no delay.
