rename: need a pulldownmenu with the last renamed filenames

in the rename window (reproduce: F2 in fullscreen mode):

a pulldown-menu with the last renamed files would be help-/useful.

please add such a thing ;-) so the user can choose filenames from older renaming sessions.

A list for recent filenames could be used for fullscreen mode, but for browser mode you won't be able to use that recent files list, since renaming is done "in situ" and without dialog. The list of recent filenames in Fullscreen would be helpful, but it would only help there, so I think we should not provide such a list.

i always rename my files in FS, because renaming files in browser mode is very crappy.
i.e.
-renaming of very long filenames...
-renaming of file if the cursor/fokus is on the last rows will not show the whole filename, but crops it (display only)
-some other things i don't remember now .-)

but why do you think we don't need a little helper like the pulldown-menu?
only because it's not available in browser mode, but in FS mode?

My opinion is that things should be as consistent and intuitive as possible. A help is only a good help if you can rely on it and it is always available. This is not the case.

don't know, if there is already a bug open for that, but if you play around some time with renaming in browsermode, you find a lot more "buggy" things.
