Yes, Pierre. That is the path. The only difference is that the extension "app" does not appear but clicking on the icon in Finder does open Elements.

Situation continues even with new version. Clicking on image will not open it in PSElments 2024. Must go out to Finder and then click on the image before it will open.

I have solved the problem. Click on the image; open with; configure programs; and then I configured PSE 2024; closed that area and went to the image, clicked on it and the image opened in pse. Magic.
