1.8.4 Sidecars / companion files are no longer hidden

Hi,

I have updated from version 1.8.3 to 1.8.5 and since then the .xmp sidecars / companion files are suddenly displayed, although I have switched off the corresponding option. The error also exists in versions 1.8.6 and 1.8.4.

Enclosed are two copyright-free video files with the corresponding .xmp files for testing.

The option can be found under File list -> Companion files -> Show companion files.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 1.8.7. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
