No taskbar, no windows controls, always fullscreen like a Windows 8 app

Hi, my XnView MP has been acting strangely for the last two to three days.

Whenever I open an image, in any type of visualization (fullscreen, browser) I only see the program window and nothing else, i.e no taskbar and no Nexus winstep (a tollbar I have on the right, with "above everything" setting and reserved space).
Also, I don't have the usual open, close, minimaze buttons in the top right corner.
Attached here two screenshot that shows the problems. Here there is something interesting too: you see the black bar at the top? I don't have it. It's only the screenshot (taken with the usal STAMP key) that shows it, in my monitors the program takes all the screen.

That happens EVERY SINGLE TIME I start XnView, no exception. The main problem for me is that I can't resize the window and that the taskbar is hidden, but even the rest is quite annoying too.

This is the only software I have installed in my PC that has this problem: everything else is working fine.

I'm running the program in Windows 10 home, didn't change a single thing option or add a single software before this problem came up (I may have done Windows and Office 365 update, I don't remember if I had this problem before them or not).

Wow, now I almost feel really stupid
But in my defense, I tried various times to exit from the fullscreen mode while I was trying to understand what happened and it never worked. My "mistake" was pressing the icon I have in the toolbar: i can confirm that if you press the icon, it doesn't work and you're stuck in the fullscreen window mode -> you pass from the fullscreen image to the fullscreen browser, but never to the windowed mode. It works only when you are in the browser and press the keys.
Maybe that's another feature I don't know, but if so, I think it's counterintuitive.

I want to confirm, this is a problem I have occasionally, and written about. I believe there are other ways to engage this, as I rarely use the function keys and it's unlikely to do an accidental keystroke from opposite corners of the board. Once in a while the program gets stuck in this mode and I don't remember how to fix it. Ctrl-f11 is a much better way to correct this than what I had been doing, but it's still unexpected behavior for a program, with an uncommon fix. XNview is the only time I've ever encountered this, and I wonder how much the functionality is necessary or desired.

Just logged in to say thank you for creating this topic I too was unable to get out from this mode after trying a lot of things. I didn't even needed the titlebar, I just wanted to see the taskbar, maybe that's why I didn't even consider checking the "Titlebar" option in the menu. Anyway, issue solved, thanks!
