bit depth as column in browser
- 24bit shows automatically as 16M (colors). IMO showing the colors here might be a bit of old fashioned thinking as majority of material out there is 16M anyway. And even in 24bit pics are variations like srgb, BT-709 and other color gamuts like the one of Apple, hdr, etc.. Also as you see for 16bit png file is says 48bits.
Suggestion of better way to do:
- 1. modify info to be coherent so that it is always either total bit depth (24, 32, 48, 64, etc..) or per channel bit depth (8, 16, 10, 12, etc..)
- 2. make in addition for properties column new colums like: CHANNEL BIT DEPTH (8/16/8/10/12/14), TOTAL BIT DEPTH (24, 32, 48, 64, etc...), CHANNEL CONTENT (RGB, RGBA, CMYK, Monochrome or B/W). Also new column is good as sometimes you would only want to browse only 16 bit pics and it would be possible to sort by bit depth.
