Switching from XnView Classic to MP

Post by herr_k. »

new pc and must update, because the classic does not have support for avif?? thats strange..

i always used it in portable mode, also because i need it on an usb drive.
i tried to just copy over the old xnview.ini, which did nothing. can i somehow import all the settings? would be annoying to have to configure it all again after years..

and also in the directory, which size is 3 times the classic(!) can i just delete the files i don't need like qt5 (quicktime?),
is there a list, which files are for what so i can choose a minimal install?

thanks

Settings of Classic are not compatible with MP

Qt5 is not Quicktime but UI's API, you can only delete Plugins or language folder
