In XNView classic there was a possibility to add a folder (not only the images contained in a folder) to the slideshow, and an option to watch the contents of the folder.
Is there a possibility to expect similar functionality in XNViewMP in the future?

Re: XNViewMP slideshow functionality
Hello,
just checking -is there anything new, regarding the slideshow functionality (i. e. the possibility to add a complete directory to the slideshow and watch it for changes, like in XNView classic)?

Thank you for your response. If I understand the information in the link correctly, the feature is going to be included in the next (1.9.4) version? This is wonderful news! Is this going to be included in both, Windows and Linux versions?
Thank you for this fine image viewer and its continuous development.
