Linux - Mouse problem with full screen

I am a switcher from Windows and would like to continue using XN View in Ubuntu 24.04 with KDE. In the full-screen mode, however, I have the problem that two to three images are always scrolled at the same time when searching with the mouse wheel. I didn't find anything about it in the settings. The arrows from the tool bar work. I'm using an original MX-Master with Logiops. But the problem also occurs with the Ubuntu default settings.

On windows, you are able to adjust the scroll speed of the mouse on a per-application basis. You might check if you can do this on Linux.

While this affects the entire system, strangely enough, it doesn't affect XnView. There, multiple images are still scrolled simultaneously.

da die Webseite in perfektem Deutsch ist hoffe ich einfach mal, dass Du das gut verstehst. Mein englisch ginge nämlich nur über ein Tool und würde die Kommunikation etwas schwieriger gestalten.
Tatsächlich ist das Scroll-Problem das Einzige, was mich im Moment noch von einem kompletten Umstieg auf Linux abhält.
Gerade hatte ich eine interessante Sitzung mit ChatGPT, der hat mir erst mal das mitgegeben:

Behavior observed:

Scroll works globally in Linux apps (Firefox, etc.)

In XnView MP: exactly 8 wheel ticks are needed to advance to the next image

Changing axis_multiplier affects other apps but does not reduce the number of ticks per image in XnView

HiRes scroll (hires: true) causes multiple images to skip at once

Issue:
XnView MP interprets the standard wheel ticks internally, grouping multiple ticks before advancing one image. There is currently no way via Logid or OS-level settings to achieve true “1 tick = 1 image” scrolling under Linux.

Request / Suggestion:

Could XnView MP provide a configuration option to adjust the number of wheel ticks per image, similar to “Lines per Wheel Tick” in some Windows versions?

This would allow smoother, precise image-by-image scrolling with high-resolution mice like the MX Master 3S on Linux.

Letztlich behauptet ChatGPT, dass viele Linux-Nutzer das Problem haben (ich selbst habe darüber tatsächlich aber nichts gefunden) und das die wohl einfachste Möglichkeit wäre, wenn Du Programmseitig etwas ändern könntest, da gerade Logitch-Mäuse immer wieder Probleme unter Linux haben.
Wenn Du Lust und Zeit hast, da etwas zu ändern, würde ich mich als Tester anbieten. Vom Programmieren habe ich leider keine Ahnung
