1.9.8: Custom labels don't work correctly with video files

Post by PierceFan »

XnView: MP 1.9.8 - 64 bit
OS: Windows 11 Pro 64bit

Certain custom label parameters are not working correctly with video files such as mp4. It may be broken for other files types as well, I haven't checked every file format/extension; only the video files stick out like a sore thumb to me.

Effect: Information is not displayed correctly in the thumbnail label

To reproduce:
1. Modify one of the custom labels to show {Modified Date}
2. Also include the standard File modified date parameter to compare
3. Browse thumbnails of mp4 files

Actual behaviour (bug): The custom Modified Date field will not display correctly for the custom label, whereas the standard File modified date will :bug:

Expected behaviour: Expect to see all of the label fields, including the custom ones (which work fine on image file thumbnails).

See attached screenshot.

Q. Why not just use the standard File modified date field if that works?
A. Because I want to have both the Created and Modified dates on a single line side by side, hence using a custom label as shown in the screenshot. If it works for every other file type, it should also work for video files.
