[HELP] Apple cannot check it for malicious software!

Post by odurand75 »

Hi!

I am trying to run NConvert on macos to no avail.

Whenever I run the command, I get a system popup stating that the library xxxx "can’t be opened because Apple cannot check it for malicious software" (see attached). The command fails to run.

PS: Works fine on Windows.

* OS: Sonoma 14.5
* NConvert v7.110 (Downloaded on Dec 10th 2025)

Thanks in advance for your help!

in settings>Privacy you can authorize it. If you try

Code: Select all

codesign -dv libwebp.dylib
?
