Unable to update images after cropping

The problem is reproduced [MP v1.9.8] as follows:

1) Double-click the image to enter editing mode.

2) After cropping the image, press the browse icon in the upper left corner to exit.

3) The image does not update.

4) Even pressing F5 to update fails.

Only re-entering editing mode and pressing Esc to exit restores normal updating.

Yes, the first time you edit, it will ask if you want to save with a preset, and the next time it will set it to save automatically, but this problem occurs on the second time or later.

I've already tried it, but it didn't work.

It works fine if I press Esc to exit editing instead of the browse icon, which clearly indicates a bug.

I have updated MP to version 1.9.9, but the problem persists on Windows (see video).

Save before exiting has been enabled.

There is no relationship as you described, nor are there any hidden tabs. To exit from the editor, you can only press the browse icon or press Esc.
