XnView MP uses square icons grouped into sets by size

  - extra

• size

  dpi, %	info	extra/rating

  125–175	set-name_size-in-pixels.png	info_18.png

• default overlay icons in raster (vector is not available)

Usage
To use custom icons:
1. create 'icons' folder in app root folder
2. put properly named files there

Good idea, in current configuration it cannot be used. I tried it but it did not work, nothing change. (Ubuntu 25.1 xnview mp 4k screen fractionnal scaling on)
