1.10.3: preview video and segmentation fault

Post by tenaka18 »

Subject: 1.10.3: preview video and segmentation fault

XnView: MP 1.10.3 - 64 bit
OS: Linux - 64bit

i was renaming one of my video freshly downloaded from whatsapp statuses.

Effect: the program crashed ( segmentation fault )

To reproduce:
1. disable preview video autoplay ( F12-> miscellaneous-> disable preview autoplay ).
2. go to the directory containing more than one video.
3. if the preview shows a frame from the video, there is no problem and it works as expected.
if the preview shows a black frame, press the arrow down to go to the next file and the program will crash with segmentation fault

Actual behaviour (bug): navigate the directory containing more than one video file , press the arrow down to go to the next file and the program will crash with segmentation fault.

Expected behaviour: can navigate the directory , file by file with arrow down and every file has a preview.

Code: Select all

QMDKWidget setMedia /home/utente/Video/Troie/SaraTruceRoma/Sara_Truce_Roma-000002.mp4

yes, i did send those files to you by private message here on the forum, to try for yourself and to debug it.

i also noted another thing, those files don't work with the integrated video player.
