v1.10.5 (Win) There are issues with merging images

Post by alee001 »

1) After entering edit mode, saving or saving as does not return to the original path.

2) Why is the merged image named "strip#" instead of renaming it according to the first or last image among the multiple images?

1)For the same issue, please refer to case 1 in the previous post:
viewtopic.php?t=50346

2)Renaming the template name will affect the file sorting and make it difficult to find. If splitting images can be done by changing the name, why can't merging images be done?

1)If the reference you receive is a duplicate post, then I'll rewrite the question: :x
After setting up the image merging and entering edit mode, the save location is not the original folder path, but a previously opened folder. Closing the program and trying again doesn't resolve the issue.

2)Assuming the original images are a.jpg and b.jpg, and the merged template name is strip2.jpg, how do I find it among many images with different names?

its better to use template with date+time "Strip_yyyy-MM-dd_hhmmss"
same for clipboard pasting

2) Image a.jpg is split into two, with template names a_1.jpg and a_2.jpg, and placed at the end. Pressing F5 will update them and place them after the original image. Similarly, when merging a.jpg and b.jpg, why can't the template name be a_b.jpg but strip#.jpg? This makes it very difficult for users to operate.
