Batch delete a keyword

Is it possible to batch delete a keyword? Tried finding away but could not. So, I did one files at a time. I am sure there is a better way.

You filter your images by the keyword you want to delete then remove the keyword from your selection.

Thank you, I will try that.
If there were 5 files that have that keyword, do I only remove it in one file and then select write to all files? I looked at several videos on metadata but did not see any on removing keywords.

If you use "edit iptc" or "edit xmp" dialog, there are some settings to adjust in the last tab before trying to remove a keyword in a set of photos...

If you are using "Categories" pane, select chosen files and un-tick the category, and release selection.
