You wish to view files in the browser in a different sort order, or permanently rename them?

If I understand the original message correctly; I think it's the same issue I'm seeing - the ability to sort images when renaming has stopped working:

The re-order buttons do nothing. They were definitely working fine a while ago as I use the feature fairly frequently, and when I tried yesterday it wasn't working.

Duncan's right, those buttons are completely broken.
