I used the album view and navigate to a folder with many pictures. I could add the folder as bookmark with both small and big bookmark symbols.
It's a little confusing when you have two similar icons of different sizes right next to each other. They're located in the upper-right corner.

yes, if you group files. Perhaps hide the first one if you are using grouping?

I tested the behaviour again in version V1.0 (20).

I have disabled grouping (= setting none) in album view and see a small and big bookmark symbol.

If I start folder view only one bookmark symbol will be visible.

Actually I installed version 1.0 (21) and everything is fine!
