I did some tests with the new crop function with jpeg, webp and heic format files.
Cropped JPEG and WEBP files get saved in their original format and it works fine.
My heic format files made problems. Loading and viewing is no problem.
I can use crop, choose the destination folder (e.g. download folder on internal storage) and the file does not get saved.
I see a message: (1) file skipped

Re: v41 - crop of HEIC format failed
I tried my test HEIC file that I got from another person. Resizing, cropping, converting works.
I took two photos with my realme12 and apart from renaming them and moving them to another directory, I can't do anything with them. App closes while saving a new HEIC file.
And there is now a new bug. I was able to give it stars for that first file, but now I can't.
More precisely, I meant saving these photos in the HEIC format.

Re: v41 - crop of HEIC format failed
I think you could find the reason for heic format problems in version 41.
In the evening I installed version 42 and cropping heic format and saving in heic is perfect! Great job!
The new 'save as' window is very useful and a good solution! Thank you.
