Batch change of XMP info fails

Hi
I'm fairly new to XNView so maybe this has been a topic already.

I am trying to batch change/update XMP in a number if jpg files at the same time. Title field.
But after refresh the old information appear again, but when I change one file at the time the updates work.
Also if I batch update the same field by ITPC it works.

What am I doing wrong or don't understand?
