Well, it shouldn't keep playing the video if you switch back from fullscreen to the browser, should it?

I think it's OK, there are more important things to do, check some suggestions in Requests & Suggestions group.
Is original bug fixed?

This is supposed to be fixed in XnView 1.82. As long as fixing is not verified and confirmed, it will remain in the "Bug reports".
